Arianna Ortiz was one of the stars of Edson Oda's acclaimed Sci-Fi Drama NINE DAYS which premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award, released by Sony Pictures Classics. She can currently be seen in the award-winning festival hit FUCKTOYS by Annapurna Sriram, (a racy heartfelt comedy) and THICK SKIN by Helena Hawkes (produced by Monkey Paw and premiered at TIFF2025). In 2023, she starred in the critically acclaimed LAST DAYS OF THE LAB, which premiered at Tribeca 2023 and screened at TIFF. Her extensive work in television includes recurring roles on OWN's ALL RISE, NBC's THIS IS US, and PARENTHOOD, the CW's JANE THE VIRGIN. Recent guest star appearances include APPLETV's LITTLE AMERICA, CBS's NCIS: HAWAII, and S.W.A.T. You can catch her in the upcoming independent comedy PUDDYSTICKS and HEARTLAND EXPRESS. Favorite comedy work includes MTV's FAKING IT, AMAZON's GORTIMER GIBBONS ON NORMAL STREET and multi-cam sitcoms. Voice work includes bad ass lawyer Kara Bright in ZERO TOLERANCE, opposite Hilary Swank and Melonie Diaz. She had a recurring role on the hit Wondery crime podcast BLOOD TIES, opposite Gillian Jacobs and Amy Landecker. She can be heard in Audible's BLUEBEARD opposite Joseph Fiennes. Arianna trained classically as an actor at the California Institute of the Arts. Her work in professional theater includes roles onstage at The Center Theater Group, The Geffen Playhouse, The BRAVA Theater Center in San Francisco, The Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company, the Theater at Boston Court, and San Diego Rep. She was nominated for an L.A. Drama Critics' Award for her performance in the World Premiere "Friends With Guns" at the Road Theater Company.
