Bonnie was raised by her mother and her mother's large Irish Catholic family in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Bonnie started acting and singing at a young age, appearing in many high school plays at Poly Prep Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She attended Boston College as a Musical Theater major, and left to move back home to New York to try acting professionally. Bonnie sang in many bands in the NYC music scene, and had a music development deal at 17 years old. She was noticed by a modeling scout while waiting tables in NYC, and was an international model in London, Milan, Paris, and back home in New York. After deciding to focus on acting, she packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles at age 22. One of her first auditions was for the lead role in CBS's mini-series, Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story, in which she also sang. Over the next two decades, Bonnie has appeared in dozens of TV shows and movies. Some notables include: Friends, Code Black, Golden Boy, NYPD Blue, Grosse Pointe, The In-Laws, Cashmere Mafia, The O.C., Kitchen Confidential, Blue Bloods, Law & Order, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Bonnie was the lead in several Hallmark Channel movies as well, including Holiday Engagement, Love You Like Christmas, and Mom's Day Away. She also wrote and sang the original song, Winding Road, for the Grammy-winning soundtrack to the movie, Garden State. Bonnie splits time between Los Angeles and New York.
