Brian Norris has proven a multi-talent in the entertainment industry as an actor, voice artist, director, and coach. A working actor for over 20 years, Brian is recognized most for his recurring roles on Hulu’s original noir drama series Reprisal, the final season of AMC’s acclaimed drama Halt and Catch Fire, and Neil Labute’s DirecTV debut series Full Circle. His notable credits also include New Amsterdam (NBC), S.W.A.T. (CBS), iZombie (CW), Masters of Sex (Showtime), Longmire (A&E), Castle (ABC), Mad Men (AMC), and the comedy feature film A Thousand Words starring Eddie Murphy. In addition, he has appeared on-camera and voiced numerous commercial campaigns, including Wendy’s Fast Food National campaign for 5 years. Originally from Northern California, Brian moved to Los Angeles to study at UCLA’s prestigious School of Theater, Film and Television. He emerged a powerhouse on stage, earning an LA Weekly Award ‘Best Actor’ nomination for starring as Jimmy Swan in the world premiere of Samuel Brett Williams’s dark comedy The Woodpecker. He also proudly worked with Rogue Machine Theater on the west coast premiere of Bingo with The Indians and the world premiere of Treefall. Always intrigued with storytelling, Brian expanded his skillset into creating projects. He first started this journey as writer, director and producer of stage productions as co-founder of The Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble. Later, he pivoted into the indie film world with several festival shorts, including Coffee Shop Girl, Nothing Personal, Miss Suzy Norman, and the upcoming comedy Square. More recently, Brain has become committed to helping artists as a craft & career coach. He currently teaches the craft of acting at John Rosenfeld Studios, combining elements from his traditional training with his practical on-set experience. He also coaches actors in their career as the co-founder of Actor Salon, helping them to set attainable goals, create accountability, develop their own content and achieve the career they want. Looking to help artists even more, Brian recently created and hosts the podcast Industry Town, featuring candid, in-depth interviews with working professionals from all areas of the entertainment business in Hollywood. In this free-flowing format, guests dive deep revealing some of their biggest breakthroughs, the struggles that got them there and everything in-between. Each episode delivers practical advice, inspirational stories, insights into the creative process, motivational tidbits, career guidance and many, many laughs.
