George Ackles

George Ackles got his start acting in commercials in Los Angeles as a child. As a teen, he added music to the mix; touring the country as a featured soloist in an award-winning madrigal choir. From there, he went on to front various rock acts in and around L.A. (and opening for acts like Incubus, 311, and System of a Down, to name a few). ​ After a handful of record deals came and went, George turned his focus back to acting and his education, earning his Bachelor's in Theater from California State University, Northridge with a focus on directing. It was there that George discovered his love of voice acting and he's been working and playing behind the mic ever since. ​ George is comfortable working in all genres of VO. Whether it's leveraging his easy, approachable sound for commercial work, industrials, or narration; his textured gravitas for film trailers & TV promo; or his wide range of accents and impressions for interactive media and animation. ​ When he's not in the booth, George resides in Los Angeles, California with his darling daughter.
