Janellen Steininger Janellen is a seasoned voice over performer also known for her on-camera and stage work. Originally from Ohio, she received her acting training in New York at N.Y.U and the Stella Adler Conservatory. She also studied with The Royal Shakespeare Company and José Quintero. In her many years in Los Angeles she has become a fixture of Los Angeles theatre. She also has a background in improv and dance and is an accomplished singer of jazz and standards and, has performed in musical theatre, solo jazz concerts and in studio recordings. Having lived in Germany as a student, Janellen is fluent in German and also has a facility in French as well as various British Isle and European dialects. She has also translated German to English for theatre and opera. Janellen is happy to be “doing it all” in voice overs with character, gravitas, lilt, and humor. Her commercials include: 7-UP, Century Link, iPhone, Mexican Tourism and Inspire Medical. Various video games include: ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE, (multiple chapters since2015,) CALL OF DUTY, AVATAR, FINAL FANTASY XV, WARHAMMER, QUANTUM OF SOLACE and BATEN KAITOS. commercials include: 7-UP, Century Link, iPhone, Mexican Tourism and Inspire Medical. Janellen has also recorded audio books including Disney’s: THE MANY ADVENTURES OF WIINIE THE POOH. Janellen also has extensive Dubbing lead and principle credits including the Basque Spanish series PATRIA, (available on Netflix,) The Spanish series VENENO (on HBO Max,) Spain’s EVERYTHING ELSE, (on Netflix,) Italy’s last season of GOMORRAH,(on HBO MAX,) and most recently A PRIVATE AFFAIR,(currently debuting on Amazon Prime.) In addition, she records trailers for games and books and performs in podcast series and radio theatre. Janellen has also voiced in German for Interactive ,Narration and ADR and has translated from German to English for Opera, Theatre and tv.
