Based in Los Angeles, California and Vero Beach, Florida. Home studio, Pro Tools; Neumann U87; Avalon, API, and Apogee mic preamps; SourceConnect; SessionLinkPro. Jet Walker’s first flight in the voiceover industry began when she started professional voiceover training as a kid. Fast forward to today at 19, and continuing through 2024, she is the voice of the lead character "Corto," a Disney XD+ production. Over the summer, Jet voiced a Prime Video App national radio commercial campaign, “Babysitter,” and several videos for the Educational Industry and E-learning Channels on School Safety and Gun Violence Prevention for students and classrooms across the US. This credit recently earned her a Society Voice Arts - E-Learning Narrative 2023 nomination. In addition, she garnered two Society Voice Arts Awards nominations in 2021 for Best Voiceover Animation Character TV/Web and Best Voiceover in Promo TV/Web for her role as Corto in Droners. Jet's journey began when NBC Universal Television announced its Universal Kids TV channel in association with PBS and DreamWorks Television. After hundreds of auditions from around the country, from New York to LA, Jet Walker, at thirteen years old, was chosen as the voice of the network, voicing all the IDs, Promos, In Show Voices, Bumpers, Sponsor tags, and Billboards, Airline-In- Channel programming and the Universal Kids YouTube channel. She recorded over 100 hours of studio time. Her experience working with the network was invaluable; she has carried that knowledge with her as a young adult. She soared into the VO universe as one of the youngest and up against the biggest in the business to win the Society Voice Arts Award (SOVAS) for Outstanding Promo – Best Voiceover in 2018. Jet is known for her unique vocal texture, captivating delivery, direct-ability, and versatile acting range spanning the gamut - a take-charge tomboy, an elegant princess, a warrior, and a network Promo Voiceover for Youth programming. Jet has the pipes, the imagination, and the flexibility to embody a range of characters for animation, promos, and commercials. Her directors, without exception, love the extra ‘it factor she brings to the mic as much as they love her ability to respond precisely to their explicit direction. Besides her love of voiceover, she is an accomplished musician and plays Electric guitar and the Alto Saxophone. Jet’s goal is to continue to fulfill her dreams in the voiceover business as she continues her profession while attending her second year in college to obtain her degree in Computer Science and Technology.
