John Pirkis

John Pirkis trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the United Kingdom, studied Meisner with the Los Angeles based Meisner Center at Sanford Meisner's original school in Bequia, Caribbean, and the Alba Emoting and Feldenkrais techniques at the University of Montreal in Canada. For nearly forty years John has appeared internationally on stage, and on screen. Featuring in many established British and U.S. TV Dramas, including BILLIONS, TURN, GOTHAM, DAREDEVIL, MADAM SECRETARY and THE TICK, and featuring in Films such as, NATIONAL TREASURE II opposite, Nicholas Cage, YOUNG VICTORIA opposite, Emily Blunt and GOLD opposite Matthew McCoonaughey, as well as appearing on West End and Off Broadway stages. In 2002 John co-founded the multi-award winning, Theatre 503 in London; "the home of cutting edge new writing", and afforded the title, 'Arguably Britain's most important theatre', winning 2 Olivier Awards. He has voiced aliens for DOCTOR WHO on tv, and numerous characters including 'Death Eaters' in video games, and in animation, various voices for the one off TOY STORY tv special.
