Kara Luiz

Native midwesterner and local Los Angeleno, Kara Luiz is multifaceted actress, improviser and host. Her television credits range from Emmy award wining single camera comedies like HACKS, a show in which she recurs, to Marvel's WONDERMAN, Seth Rogan's THE STUDO, sitcoms such as THE CONNERS and THE BIG BANG THEORY, to procedurals such as MATLOCK, BALLARD and CRIMINAL MINDS and finally all the way to AMERICAN CRIME STORY, among many others. Kara's commercial credits include PlutoTV, UPMC Health Plan, McDonald's, DISH Network, COX, Sprint, FuBoTV, General Electric, US Navy Federal Credit Union, Discover Card and more. In the VO world, Kara voiced two series regular characters in The Plutonians, an animated project on SyFy. She is a graduate of The Groundlings and the Upright Citizens Brigade where for many years she performed improvised episodes of Law & Order with her team. Outside of acting, Kara is a Pilates instructor and mother to two young children.
