Mari has brought warm, friendly authority with a wee bit of snark to hundreds of commercials over the years including campaigns for such clients as: McDonalds, Blue Cross, Intuit, Clorox, Yoplait, Constant Contact, Massage Envy, Ethel M Chocolates, and Blockbuster Animation credits include: Happy Feet, Dragonlance, Time Squad, Duckman, Cow and Chicken, Aah Real Monsters!, and the delightful Dora Smarmy of Distraction News on HBO's Crashbox. Video Games include: Guild Wars, Mafia 3, Thor, Mass Effect, Earth and Beyond, Command and Conquer, Star Trek, and The Dig. A native of Chicago, she started her acting career there with such companies as Steppenwolf and Court Theatre. She originated the role of Alice in the cult hit "The Real Live Brady Bunch" with Annoyance Theatre under the direction of Jill Soloway, eventually performing it at New York's Village Gate and The Westwood (now Geffen) Theatre in L.A. In Los Angeles she has worked with Rogue Machine, Theatre of N.O.T.E., evidEnce room, ZooDistrict, and received an LA Weekly award for Comedy Ensemble for the hilarious Oh Sister, My Sister! written by and starring Jane Lynch. Her most recent TV credits include: Shameless, Jane the Virgin, How To Get Away With Murder, Black-ish, Timeless, Bones, Gortimer Gibbons Life On Normal Street, and Mad Men. A big believer in volunteering, Mari has served on the SAG Conservatory committee and has been privileged to work with such organizations as Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Club, Meals On Wheels, Rolling Readers, and is currently a volunteer educator for Planned Parenthood.
