Nelson Lee booked a supporting role in Alex Garland & A24’s new film CIVIL WAR, had a strong supporting role in Disney’s live-action MULAN & the Sundance nominated indie I WAS A SIMPLE MAN starring Constance Wu. Last fall, he shot a lead role in Steve Pink’s indie film THE WHEEL which premiered at TIFF 2021. He is recurring on ABC’s new show THE COMPANY YOU KEEP and Freeform’s GOOD TROUBLE, recurred on The CW’s STARGIRL, TNT’s CLAWS, ABC’s TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY, Amazon’s SNEAKY PETE and just finished a 2 episode arc on AHSOKA, a STAR WARS series. He has guest starred on several series BETTER THINGS, EVIL, LAW & ORDER: SVU, SUPERIOR DONUTS and MADAM SECRETARY. He was a series regular on Ron Moore’s VIRTUALITY for Fox and BLADE for Spike TV. Nelson also co-directed, wrote and starred in the indie feature A.I. TALES which featured Pom Klementieff. On stage he has appeared Off Broadway in Zayd Dorn’s World Premiere of OUTSIDE PEOPLE. He has also appeared in world premieres of Carla Ching’s REVENGE PORN: THE STORY OF A BODY, THE TWO KIDS THAT BLOW SHIT UP, and FAST COMPANY, as well as Heidi Schreck’s THE CONSULTANT, and as Ryu in MAPLE AND at both ACT and City Theatre. He is a dual US and Canadian citizen. Nelson has 15 years of training in Jeet Kune Do and other forms of Martial Arts. He has on-camera fight experience, most recently with Andy Cheng, one of Jackie Chan’s stunt coordinators, on STITCHERS. Nelson is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Cantonese.
