Rebecca Wisocky
Rebecca Wisocky currently stars as Hetty Woodstone on CBS’s Ghosts, television’s number one comedy series and recently joined Mindy Kaling’s hit series Sex Lives of College Girls’ in a key recurring role of Professor Dorfmann. Some other memorable appearances include roles on Devious Maids, Star Trek: Picard, For All Mankind, True Blood, The Mentalist, and American Horror Story and Dopesick. On the film side, she has appeared in Pollock opposite Ed Harris, Hello My Name is Doris opposite Sally Field, in Andrew Dominik’s Marilyn Monroe feature Blonde for Netflix and in David O. Russell’s Amsterdam. She voiced the role of E-bay Elayne in the animated feature Ralph Saves the Internet, and Dee Dumbie-Dungle in the upcoming adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits for Netflix. Rebecca was a founding member of Annie-B Parson’s acclaimed Big Dance Theater, a regular favorite in Jeff Weiss’s infamous late-night soap Hot Keys, and was awarded an OBIE for her performance as ‘Leni Riefenstahl’ in Jordan Harrison’s play Amazons and Their Men. Other theatre credits include Barbecue by Robert O’Hara at The Geffen, God’s Ear by Jenny Schwartz at the Vineyard, 36 Views by Naomi Iizuka at the Public, The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant by R.W. Fassbinder at Henry Miller’s Theater, and many more in New York, regionally and abroad. Originally from York, PA, Wisocky currently resides in Los Angeles & New York with her husband, Tony Award nominated theatrical lighting designer Lap Chi Chu.
