Tim Russell

Tim Russell was an actor on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and its successor show, “Live From Here with Chris Thile”since 1994. He has appeared in many films including the part of Al, the stage manager, in the Robert Altman film A Prairie Home Companion, and a detective in the Coen brothers’ A Serious Man.. On stage he starred, with Sue Scott, in Voicematch, in roles created for them by Broadway playwright, Jeffrey Hatcher. He worked, as a personality at CBS owned WCCO Radio, for 33 years.
