At age 13, Vedanten is a bilingual (English/Spanish) triple threat: an Actor-Singer-Multi-percussionist proud to represent the South Asian and Special Needs communities The son of an Ashoka Fellow and artist activist, Vedanten's mother brought him into the industry alongside her, to use his gifts as a "change-maker" for causes that affect his generation. He is diagnosed "twice exceptional for being intellectually gifted and physically challenged. In 2020 Vedanten joined his mother in raising his voice during lockdown, for the United Nations Global Goal "No Violence Against Women and Children". He amplified children's lived experience in the COVID Online Child Exploitation PSA for the US CyberTipline and the short film "Little Boy Little Girl", both produced by SoulgroupStudio. He made his animation voice debut on Colgate's global health campaign, "Adventures In The Molar System". In Dec 2021, Stan Lee's Superhero Kindergarten welcomed wheel-chair bound Emerson (voiced by Vedanten) as their newest superhero teammate. He's voiced multiple characters on theatrical anime superhits "Doraemon: Stand By Me 2" and "Suzume", in the English localization from Bang-Zoom Studios. In 2022 and 2023 Vedanten continued to overcome the pain of cerebral palsy originating multicultural series regular roles on new DisneyPlus and AppleTV 26-part series. Commercial credits include Amazon Back To School campaign (2021) ComCast/Xfinity Winter Olympics (2022). Theatrically, Vedanten was cast as the only child and only physically disabled actor on the stellar ensemble of AmazonMGM's studio feature "The Bluff", alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Citadel), Karl Urban (The Boys) and Ismael Cordova (Lord of the Rings) directed/written by Frank E Flowers and produced by AGBO. As a composer, Vedanten continues to study university level Music Theory and has sung with the Children's Concert Choice - at LA's Colburn Music School. His music reverberates with calls to action for child protection: "Courage / Corage" is a rap recollection of children's lives lost to American School shootings. "Rise With Me" urges parents to advocate for early interventions for children with disabilities.
